Indian rupee finally gets a new symbol!!!
It would be a final replacement for abbreviations 'Re' or 'Rs' .
This symbol which are also used by neighbors countries like Pakistan, Srilanka, and Nepal.
The symbol set to give the rupee a unique identity, highlights the strength of the growing Indian economy
Selection of New Symbol:
For this 25,000 application has been received across the country in that 5 designs has been shortlisted.
Five design has been forwarded to cabinet approval and one has been shortlisted its Mr. Udaya kumar's Symbol.
3D representation impresses the RBI
Shahrukh Irani shortlisted in one of the five agrees that Udaya Kumar Design was good.
