Tata Motors has launched a premium 7-seater variant of its commercial passenger van the Winger, called the Winger Platinum, priced at Rs. 7.85 lakhs, ex-Delhi.

The Winger Platinum has an enhanced and luxurious cabin with seven plush  captain seats (1 + 6, including the driver) to improve travelling comfort. This van ideally will cater to corporates, hotels or the tourist sector to transport large families in relative luxury in an otherwise boxy shape.
The Tata Winger has been around since 2007 and is priced at Rs. 6.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Chandigarh) and Rs. 6.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Cochin) for the 9-12 seater variants. Tata Motors offer a 1.5 lakh km / 18-month warranty on the Winger.
The Winger is based on the third generation Renault Traffic van. However, Winger has not been a huge success like other passenger commercial vehicles introduced by Tata. While there is nothing special about Winger base variants, the latest Winger Platinum is loaded with features.
