Prabhu Solomon has been getting a lot of accolades for his Mynaa.
The film has now been selected to be screened at the 7th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival, along with Shyamaprasad's Malayalam film Electra and a Bengali movie.
The director in an interview to a Tamil paper said that he is thrilled and honoured that Mynaa with the tag line in English Journey of Love, has been selected from nearly a dozen other language movies from India.
Prabhu Solomon also said : "I am planning to remake Mynaa in Hindi with an all new star cast. The film has a pan Indian appeal as the basic story concerns childhood friendship between a boy and a girl that develops into love."
Prabhu plans to start the remake sometime in May 2011.
