Man Made Ornithopter Flies like a Bird
Man Made Ornithopter flies in Air
Many have failed in this but a Canadian Engineering Student Succeeded by flying.
What is Ornithopter?
An ornithopter (from Greek ornithos "bird" and pteron "wing") is an aircraft that flies by flapping its wings.
Designers seek to imitate the flapping-wing flight of birds, bats, and insects. Though machines may differ in form, they are usually built on the same scale  as these flying creatures. Manned ornithopters have also been built, and some have been successful. The machines are of two general types: those with engines, and those powered by the muscles of the pilot.

Todd Reichert is 28 years old, an Engg student who created this .
He successfully created this and flown in air.
He named his Ornithopter as The Snowbird.
This flight is record breaking one.
He sustain to fly about 16 MPH and flew at a height of 475 feet.
Snow bird has huge wing span measured nearly to Boeing 737.
