New ban on Tobacco products - Singapore
Singapore Government put higher restrictions on alternative Tobacco and nicotine products available in abroad. Products such as :
- Smokeless forms of tobacco as oral and nasal inhalation
- Electri cigarettes,
- Nicotine water,
- Candy Flavoured cigarettes
He said such new innovative products makes industry's attempt to attract new users and young customers including women. He showed some samples of nicotin products and smokeless e-cigarettes.
Recent reports says there's a proportionate increase in smoking among young adults in Singapore.
During 2004 - 2007
18% to 25 % among young men addicted for smoking
7% to 9 $ among young women addicted for smoking
