Ajith's Mankatha Movie in full Swing

There have been reports in a section of the print media that Venkat Prabhu's Ajit-Trisha- Arjun starrer Mankatha was scrapped. However Venkat in an interview to a newspaper cleared the air and rubbished the stories making the rounds. Venkat Prabhu in the interview said: "I was really disturbed when I read reports in a magazine saying that Mankatha shooting had been stalled, at a time when the shoot is going on smoothly." Venkat said they had already completed a Bangkok schedule and have now put up sets in a Chennai studio, which look like Dharavi in Mumbai. Says Venkat : "The rumours may have started as rain played spoil sport and we had to cancel the shoot. We have almost completed the talkie portion and Yuvan has given me all the songs.
